Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan attends graduation ceremony of Emirates National Schools
Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State, attended the graduation ceremony for the 17th cohort of Emirates National Schools (ENS) students.
The event, which took place last night at Mubadala Arena in Abu Dhabi, celebrated the achievements of 578 graduates from the Mohamed bin Zayed City, Abu Dhabi, and Al Ain City campuses.
The ceremony was attended by key figures including Ahmed Mohamed Al Hemeiri, Secretary-General of the Presidential Court and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the ENS, officials, board members, parents, and members of the administrative and teaching staff.
In his remarks, Sheikh Shakhboot highlighted the UAE's commitment to investing in its youth, as emphasised by President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. He stressed that the nation's future hinges on the dedication and excellence of its young people, who are poised to drive ongoing development and innovation.
Sheikh Shakhboot expressed gratitude to Sheikh Mansour for his significant role in empowering Emirati youth, enabling them to contribute to the UAE's journey towards leadership and excellence.
He noted that the student's achievements are a testament to their hard work and dedication, marking the start of a promising path filled with opportunities and challenges. He encouraged the graduates to continue their pursuit of knowledge in alignment with the nation's visionary goals.
Al Hemeiri, in turn, reiterated that the UAE's leadership prioritises student empowerment through a forward-thinking educational system that integrates modern technologies such as artificial intelligence and digital tools while reinforcing Emirati values and identity.
Dr. Shawn Dilly, Director-General of Emirates National Schools, praised Sheikh Mansour's unwavering educational support. He highlighted the schools' commitment to providing high-quality education and fostering students' ambitions through initiatives like the centres of excellence for technical and vocational training and scholarship programmes for outstanding students.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, Sheikh Shakhboot honoured the graduates and took a group photo with them.
