Stressed that the "Union Reign Day" declared by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, as a national holiday on the 18th of July every year, reflects the commitment of the wise leadership to continue the approach laid down by the late Founding Father Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan to consolidate the values of unity, loyalty and belonging for a more prosperous, developed and sustainable future for the country and its citizens.
In a speech on the occasion, HH Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan said: ‘Union Reign Day is a precious national anniversary that inspires us all to be inspired by the vision of the late founding father, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the values of unity, work and giving, which over many decades formed the solid foundation for building the State of the Union through the forward-looking and ambitious vision of its leadership and the solidarity and dedication of its people for the advancement of the nation.’
